I don't have any pics of my first car, that was 40 years ago. A 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible with the 426 Max Wedge. And to think I sold it in 1969 with a bent front fender (woman made a left turn into me), 69k miles and no rust for $110. Of course, I bought my second car, a 66 Fairlane GTA in mint condition for $850.

One neat tidbit is that both cars were bought new at the same dealership. The Mustang still had the dealer decal on the back when my dad bought it in 1984. At $625, he probably thought he paid too much for it. I remember it like it was yesterday; the dull white paint, the rusty Keystone Klassics on dry-rotted Goodyear Polyglas GTs, the duct-taped upholstery, and rusty driver-side floorpan. However, the factory 390 4V made up for all that.
