Isn't this a really good deal? If not, I'm sad that they're not worth that much, but if it is, maybe a CEGer can get a good deal.

Nevermind, it's in the classifieds. Is that really all these cars are worth? If resale is really that bad, I might have to get one!

3 things could be wrong besides the "blemishes". Wiring harness, engine and tranny.

BuchSVT is selling his for $2750 o.n.o. due to wiring harness issues. Now, that is a good deal if you can fix the wiring harness yourself.

they go for that much, more often than you think, if there is something wrong at all. The price of a 6-9 year old car has PRETTY MUCH bottomed out. A repair (harness, tranny, etc) is typically half or more of the value of the car, and its easier to sell the car for less than fix it and think that you could recoup any costs. Trust me!

It's the immutable law of supply and demand guys. A select few of us enjoy this car but for the most part people are not crazy about them.

Its the "standard" color. Midnight blue was ONLY color available in the interior in 98/99

Not surprising, really. It has a bunch of little defects. That adds up, IMO. I'd rather spend more to get a car in good shape. Typically, things like that are an indication that a car has not been taken care of as well as it should have been.

I agree. Intentions at first are I'll hook this up and that but when your wallet starts sputtering then the actions just stall...

Spend a little more for an intact car. I saw the pics and
