Anyone have a modded Escape rail for an oval port? I normally work with the Taurus/Sable rails and this one is slightly different. There is a regulator on the line. Should I cut it off and braze the hole over? Can I leave it alone and leave the vacuum off or should I block it off? What do other people's look like? It doesn't look like the fuel has to go through it like the SVT regulator.

Hard to say. It could be a spring loaded diaphragm that is designed to equalize pressure during fuel load changes since the system is returnless.
If you are cutting it to make it a return style rail, then get rid of it and use a standard regulator setup.

IIRC the Escape is a returnless system that has a fuel pressure sensor on the line. I don't think that it is a regulator.

Have fun,

I think it has both a transducer and this other diaphragm. I have an escape rail here and there is no wiring coming form it.

I am using an escape fuel rail...

You can easly remove the regulator looking thing...
If you look from under it you will see that there is a C clip...
Take the c-clip off and you can dismantle it... Then just WELD over the hole thats left
