So yeah, been hounded for pics of the VDub-ya for a while now. It's been in my signature for about three weeks, and I've been waiting to get a break from school so I could go out and take QUALITY pictures. But CEG likes to ride my balls, so I'll post the few I've taken when I got the car home, so I don't end up like this guy. The corner comment is for a friend of mine in TN. Feel free to disregard. That's my friend's 2005 Scion tC. He can't drive it for crap because he sucks at MTX, but it is a nice looking car. All he had to do is hold a 4.0 through junior year in HS though. Doesn't pay a DIME for it. Not even gas. And since I bought an MkIII instead of an MkIV, I can do this and be cool because I didn't buy the "ghey" Jetta. So, now that everyone knows my business, y'all can go back to wandering as you were. -SAV

Sav, you know you parked across the handicap zone, right?!
Car looks clean as hell. I was never a BIG fan of the MK3, as I like the gh3y year better, but I love those cars in white.
What is planned for it, besides drilling holes everywhere to get TONS of cupholders so you feel at home, again.
Edit:
Oh yeah, thanks for the "shout out".

Why is the MK3 considered ok, when the MK4 is ghey? Shouldn't the MK3 be gay by association?

I dunno, ask Sav. He said it first.
I belive it was an article posted on gay.com or something (Todd posted it A LONG time ago), that picked the MK4 as the #1 gay car... MK3 never made it on the list.
Sav, can't remember, is it a manual or auto? I know it's the 2.slow, though.

No need it is totally ghey in it's own right!

I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment

labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I like my car, even if it's not up to the non- standards. For what it's worth: I hate the cupholders. They're the crappiest excuses in the world for cupholders. Barely holds a 12 oz can, they're so stuffed up under the dash. I hate that the shifter is like stirring a wooden spoon in a bag of pretzels. I hate that the power door lock button is on the dashboard. I hate that the rear window buttons are on the dashboard while the front ones are on the door. I hate how the headlights are sealed-beam rather than clear lens reflective. Alternatively: I love the handling. I love that it's a 5 speed. I love how the spoiler fits the form of the car without looking gaudy. I love getting 350 to a tank of 87 gas. In the city. I love that I can close/open all the windows and the sunroof by turning the key in the door. Yeah, it's a quirky car. Some things confuse the crap out of me about it. But once again, chicks seem to dig Jettas just like they did a minivan. So yeah, I see some of your points as far as ing about it. But it doesn't make me like the car any less. -SAV

I've kept in contact with your good friend Andrew and I'm looking at suspension first. Thing sits a mile off the ground. Then maybe some 16s or so. There's 14s on there now. After that, I'd like to do intake/exhaust so I can get a little more oomph and up the mileage a bit. That's after I fix the vacuum leak though. It's running rich. I'm hopefully swapping to smoked tails and painting the plate tray bodycolor. Then clearing the front corners with the stock foggies. We'll see. -SAV
