Andy W.
The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

IIRC, the sunroof gear company is the same one that recently came on here (the 2nd one, now!!) Seems they are ebaying them to market them more effectively.

Well ray, the first guy is kinda not going to make them anymore. I got one from him and it broke within 10 minutes of putting the assembly back together. He said via phone that it was kinda frustrating and that he may not do it anymore. Looks like rennbay will be the new sunroof gear supplier for now... i was told they redesigned the gear and made it slightly larger. Oh well, as long as it works!

Jeff Hammond is still making them. His FIRST batch broke a few.. his second batch broke none, or one.. I can't remember which.
He and rennbay BOTH stated (in the SAME thread) that they were both making them, both offering lifetime warranties, both matching prices, and both were happy that the other company was out there.. They were incredibly civil and supportive of each other. this was less than 2 weeks ago, or so.

And I like how most say "Villager/Mystique" and the one says "Sable" with the others. Like they just pulled model names out of their ass.
