Just wondering where the cheapest place is to find the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter at. I've searched all over CEG to no avail although I do remember reading a post some time back with a link to an online shop that had it pretty cheap, but can't track down the thread anywhere. So far eBay isn't any cheaper than anybody else either. Thanks in advance...

No you can get either plate(depending on which year you have) from scottd60.

Bingo! That's the place I was thinking of! Thanks for the link! Fortunately I live in MD where scottd60 does so even though I haven't contacted him yet (I just got the hankering for the Tri-Ax today) I'll get in touch with him if I buy one. I just bought a Roush Focus shift knob yesterday so I think it's only right to buy a short shifter to compliment it. Right guys?

P.S. I see that CFM has several other brands of short shifters including the Ford Motorsports one. Am I right in thinking that it's just a rebranded Steeda or did I read incorrectly?

I think Steeda is patented so its a Steeda and no others out there are like it. I believe the FMS shifter is similar to the B&M.

Ah, okay I wasn't sure and they seem to look more alike than the B&M & Ford Racing. The info they have about the Ford Racing unit does say it has an "improved pivot ratio" which sounds as though it's designed similar to the Steeda, but it beats me. I did e-mail CFM though & hopefully they'll have more info about it. Regardless, the Steeda is still cheaper there than anywhere else I've seen so far though. Super tempting...
