Well lets start off on a good note. The one day my dad was going to let drive the SVT I didnt and you will soon learn why that is a great thing. So today I get out of school and start heading down town to go to work. At a light I am making a left turn and have the green arrow a raised S-10 runs the light I end up putting my car on the curb to not get T-Boned. Well after this jerk almost kills me he takes off and I didnt have time to get a plate. The front left wheel came off and everything from the tranny over on that side is out and the car was leaking some fluid I guess from the cv boot or joint. So finally the car is now at the shop and tomorrow I will get a list of things that need to be fixed.
Here is my list of things I know have to be replaced.
- E1's damn it I got them on 3 days ago
- Front bumper
- Both headlights
- Grill
- Driver side fender
- The rest I will learn tomorrow

If this ends up being too much I might try to find another SVT for cheap. Well we shall see just letting my fellow CEG'rs know.

man that sucks. it was just bad luck. who knows, if you were driving the SVT maybe it wouldn't have happened.

at least you weren't t-boned - could have made things a helluva lot worse.

Oh well my luck sucks sometimes. If we do keep this one I think I will end up just slapping on the SVT "kit" and since its at the shop I dropped off my Koni's and H&R's. And I also plan to do the drum to disc while its there and some other stuff. So I guess this could end up being a good thing...

Fo' real! The Tours are droppin' like flies around here lately. Glad there was no serious injury.

Good luck with it. You had full coverage? The insurance company will be picking up most of the tab?

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Yes I have full coverage, I hope to have the insurance take care of it. But we shall see and the shop called today and said they are really busy and they will have a full priced out list for me Monday. But they also said it doesnt look to bad and they could have it back to me sometime next week.

Well today the shop called with a list of things that will be fixed or changed.

- Front Axle
- Springs and Struts all since I have some Koni's and H&R's I want installed.
- CV boots, strut mounts, bushings, control arms.
- Brakes will be done possible drum to disc in back.
- They also found me another E1 for the one I kinda screwed over.
- Other stuff I forgot all the little stuff they are doing while in there.

Total: $800

But I also have to get my body parts but I will get them from others I know

- Getting a SVT "kit"
- Driver side fender
- 2 new headlights and grill
- Also SVT exhaust due to rear.

All in all I am very happy with the price and yeah just letting everyone know Rachel will be on the road again soon
