I'd skip both and go with a Lancer Evo VIII

It think if it was between the SRT4 and WRX....I may go with the SRT4. Pull off the wing and throw a suspension on it.

Too bad the Neon platform SUCKS fro any real lowering without sacrificing handling. The neon is a joke - even though it's fast. WRX will OWN it. If I buy a WRX it'll be an STi.

The NEON is one of the ugliest cars out on the road (right up there with the Aztek). Can't believe that anyone on here is acctually contemplating this decision based on their looks... and I even think that the WRX isn't the best looking. I only see people who don't want to put time and effort into their cars driving NEONS. I'd take a WRX before the NEON.

But I'd take the EVO VIII minus the wing above all those.

Very true. I'd buy an EVO 8 though...wish we could get the FQ-400 over here

WRX, for sure, i love them, and i've always hated neons, they may be fast yes, but i don't like them at all, and i hate a good 99% of people who drive them, since it's fast they are all extremely cocky, now they may have the room to but the car is still stock, I'd take anything modified to go fast rather than blend in the the rest of the stock only racers.

That arguement is very stupid, especially coming from contour owners. Considering the engine, tranny, suspension, most exterior, and some interior (somewhat crappy but I'd say better than a base contour) are different than regular neons, it's even a worse arguement.
I think I already said, it but stock vs. stock, or a little money put into it, definitely the srt4. If I had a lotta money, than the wrx,,, but then again, probably neither one of those cars.
