...this should be in Forced Induction...but i dont feel like getting slammed by SVT/3.0L peeps...hahaha . Is it really worth getting a supercharger/turbo....or should i just upgrade the main things without forced induction? Between the price and myself not being a speed freak...i do not see a reason for one, but you guys may prove me wrong .

If you're no speed freak, then I wouldn't be able to justify the money/time spent; honestly. Basically, it all comes down to what do you want out of your car? Do you want to break a dyno or get better gas mileage or what? Don't try to impress the CEG community just for the sake of impressing someone; do what you want; but be sure to do it good enough that people will give you credit.

haha yea i hear you. Im more of an exterior styling person. Soon as you hit my gas pedal though....you are like wtf! ....haha . Yea i am just going to do the minor mods...without forced induction. Just curious what peeps think.

Yeah; if you're all about show and just a little go; then turbo/s/c is just a big waste. Some big ole 18"s, Ground Control coilovers and an SVT kit w/Mirko splitter oughtta turn some heads fo sho.

There is a guy here with a turbo civic running 2 psi for the BOV sound.

IIRC, the first turbo'ed Subaru's ran a mere 6lbs; with the added weight of the turbo system, the naturally aspirated Soobs w/the same motor/tranny would out run the turbo Soobs! Of course, that was pre-86. In '86 they introduced the XT Turbo. 7-8lbs stock and whoosh.


Anyway, yeah, I'd recommend you stick to asethetics.

If you want a little extra go sometime for cheap, go for nitrous.

You can add some show and go......
