Hello,

I am looking for some amp advice please. I have a sony HU (cdx-m600) and 2 RF punch HE's in a sealed box. What amp would you suggest for this set up?

All advice is appreciated.

How many watts a piece?

Cost effectiveness- An American legacy is a very decent amp. Had a Legacy 1000 with remote bass, picked it up off ebay for 60 bucks shipped, and it was awesome. I paired it with 2 sony xplode 10" 1600 watt pentagons and a 1.0 Farad Rockford Cap. with 2 guage knuconceptz wiring. Bump Bump.

Competition- well, how much $ ya got?

Sorry they are 10", both in one box. Another question I had was, what would be the best way to wire them? I am not to knowledgeable about this stuff obviously, but I am not to intimidated on wiring them myself, just need a litte guidance

How many watts? Depending on power, will depend on how to wire them. If you are working with, say 400 watts a peice, there should be no need to bridge anything, just hook em' up like you would a pair of light bulbs in a series circuit.

I am sorry, not sure how many watts, where can I find that information. BTW, my friend gave me this box, he is going overseas (military) for a year and said I could have them they are only like a year old, maybe a year and a half.

edit****

looked on the back of the sub and got the model number and did a quick search and found this

ROCKFORD FOSGATE RFP3410
PUNCH 10" 400W WOOFER
* Nominal Impedance: (ohms) 4 * Voice Coil Diameter-inch: (mm) 1-3/4 (44.5) * FS: (Hz) 32 * QTS: 0.447 * VAS-cu.ft:. (liter) 1.11 (31.5) * Xmax-inch mm) .51 (13) * SPL: (dB @ 1w/1m) 85.4 * Power Handling: (RMS) 200 * Power Handling: (Max) 400 * Mounting Dia.-inch: (mm) 9-5/16 (237) * Mounting Depth-inch: (mm) 5-3/8 (137) * Speaker Dis.-cu. ft.: (liter) 0.038 (1.09) * Sealed Box Vol.-cu. ft.: (liter) 0.75 (21.24) * Vented Box Vol.-cu. ft.: (liter) 1.0 (28.32) * Port Diameter & Length in.) (1) 3 x 13.25 * Port Diameter & Length cm) (1) 7.6 x 33.6

hope that means something to you they are both the same in the box. Both have the same model numbers.

Click, Is this it?

If so, you are lookin at 300 watts a piece. I'd go (sense you are probably just looking for really good bass, but not A$$ kicking or where dynomat up the waazoo is needed, with either Rockford Fosgate Punch P5002 125W x 2 car which is 500 watts RMS which will run you about 349.99 from Crutchfield (RIP!) Or, something like any of these that will set you back about 60 bucks plus wiring. I'd go with this over spending loads of cash, especially if you are just concerned with getting tastefully hard bass. Clicky here.

Any of those amps will work fine. Many people here do actually swear by their conventional quality. They are excellent, aslong as you don't expect to be XZibit rolling phat down Sunset Blvd.

edit:
since they are 400 watt max handling. I wouldn't go above an 800 watt. You could probably get a Legacy 800 series amp and that would work out real good. Aslong as you wire both subs up and make sure the amp is atleast 2 channels.
