One of my friends got a rim that is slightly bent. He said it leeks air really slow and will be almost flat after being parked overnight. Does he need a new rim or can it still be saved?

Yep about $100+ to repair a bent wheel.

Just google wheel repair.

After repair your wheel is more susceptible to bending

unless the wheel is hugely expensive, its probably easier to just buy a replacement

I cracked a rim earlier this summer and had it repaired for $70. Haven't had any problems yet although, I had no choice, they don't make my wheels anymore

No, I wouldn't advise u to do that either unless u put a piece of wood or something between the wheel and the hammer or even a wooden or rubber mallet
