Has anybody heard of the new digital stereo? The one that gets music from a satellite? If It's the one like my satellite at home I want to get this for my Big truck.

kool aid,
ARe you talking about the XM Radio from Pioneer ???
It costs you $9.95 a month to get Stereo Satellite reception. This is on top of the XM Module that you have to buy and add, in additoin to the new Pioneer Radio that is XM compatible.
Wait and see if XM really takes off before you go and invest all of your money into it.

Alpine already has models out. Kenwood has them as well I believe. Others due out any day. Id say it's a safe bet it's gonna fly.

Kenwood will have sirius instead of XM. Sirius is supposed to be better due to one more satellite than XM and better locations. I will get Sirius as soon as it is released.

I hear a commercial for it every morning during Howard.
Sung reggae style: NASCAR driver, going for the pole position. NASCAR driver, has to drive a manual transmission.
It goes on for a while, with the tag line, "Everything from reggae to NASCAR." Pretty funny song, even if NASCAR only has to shift in four races a year (The Glen, Sonoma, and Pocono twice).
Another thing I don't get, why are FM radio stations running ads for their direct competitors (XM radio)? Kind of like Ford stocking GM brochures in their dealerships.

Remember beta video tapes, digital compact cassette, divx? Hopefully there's enough demand for both to survive.

IMO...this will catch on! Just think of the possibilities.... XM on the airplane, XM Walkman's, XM in the home! I just want to know what the chances are of them broadcasting not only music but possibly cable. I know its a little unrealistic but just think crystal clear cable in your car...forget the DVD's when the cable is coming in digital I just think that would be pretty cool...maybe not the safest thing in the world but definatly cool Later
