i got 123k anyone have ever 200,000?
150 miles haha I love my rebuilt boosted motor.
132,000+ But I'm getting rid of it, somehow... Anyway, a lot of them are 200+ Zetecs seem to have better durability than the duratecs - like the one I just bought.
Either that or it's because they're not abused as much.
i have just over 185K. i am replacing two mounts on it today as i found one was collapsed and the tranny sitting on the frame. after that, i doubt i should have any problems with it. granted i only put about 5K on it since i have had it.
Look at sig.
yes, it's a '95.
Just bought a 98 gl with 178K for $450. It runs but won't move. Seems to be a common problem with the bad auto transmissions on these cars.

i bought mine from my grandma. everything works and i paid her $500. just replaced the two lower mounts on the tranny and i busted a vacume line that goes from the brake booster to i think is the intake manifold. brakes are hard as a rock now and it runs like crap......YEAH ME!!!!!!
My odometer was reading 173,691 as of the last refueling.  But my odometer was inoperative for over a year, during which time I have estimated, (based on the amount of fuel used during that time) that I put roughly 17,000 miles on it, so I'm really somewhere around 190,000 miles. I'm quite sure this is the original motor, and that it has had no major engine repairs, other than the timing belt. It still runs great, does not noticably consume oil, and doesn't leak anything.
I was driving around the 95 today... 156K... and still runs awesome... Zetec's for the win.
139k boosted, stock engine and trans.
Ive got 204000 miles on an all original 97 zetec. even the clutch is original. the only thing that has been replaced is the timing belt and the valve cover gasket. she doesn't consume any oil and runs like a champ.

Mine's a touch over 207,000. Mine's a '96, but is almost the same as yours - Valve Cover Gasket, Timing Belt, some misc. sensors. Clutch is original in mine as well. I run Mobil 1 in mine and don't lose any oil between oil changes either.
103,xxx on my 95% stock engine. Still runs okay, but that friggin idle shake is getting worse everyday.
mine is currently 101,000
need to do some repairs
I'm about to turn 70,000 on the way home from work today. And every last mile was put on my ME!
I bought mine w/50,000 on it i put a 120,000 more on it. and last i checked its still running around St.Paul some where.
Around 150K, but the odometer reads 32K.
I've got 125,000 but the odometer reads 92,000-might need to het that fixed when I sell her
Odometer is no worky, however the reality is about 73,000 miles.... Had 35,000 when I got it.
232,000 but that may be it's end as I had an arguement with a very large deer last thursday. A 96 Zetec, 5 speed with those kms will be hard to see value in. If they write it off, I'll buy it back and it will become a racecar.
My 95 has 70,000 on it, when i bought it from my older brother 4yrs ago it had 61,000 on it. I paid 4,500 for it since the first of july 05 to now i put 380 miles on it, i only work one mile down the road from where i live.
I'll be hittin 106k tomorrow

Umm... bicycle?
Did that for awile but on nice summer hot days i love to drive the car, so i dont ride the bicycle eneymore, winter time it would be a pain. So i drive my 94 eagl talon all winter sinch the car sets in the garage until about middle of may, When all the salt is gone.
The tour never see the bad weather, as a matter of fact iam getting ready to put it away, and pullout the talon.

Holy smokes batman!!!!! Just think if you did regular maintanance on the car!!!! How long it would last!
Mine just turned over 70k yesterday and still runs like new. Havent had a problem yet and I have done regular maintenence since i bought it in July of 2002 with 24k on it.
Approaching 111k miles.
Bought the car in April 2002 with 38k miles.
It was a Hertz rental car.
Besides parts that I have broken or upgraded, I havent had to replace anything (aggressive maintenence is a great thing).
Thought I has an 02 sensor going bad once, but it was a loose wire in the connector.
89,500 on the clock
so about 69,500 on the engine. i purchased it w/ a blown motor. so i got one with 30k ..the car had 59,650 when i got it. 2 years ago this weeek
still runs like a dream, i take good care of it.
mike
We have 95 Gl w/ 170k + and it still runs fine, trying to sell it right now...
