Hey there. My parents have a 2000 Ford Taurus and I am looking to recharge the A/C for them. Only one problem, we can't seem to find the low side schrader valve. The high side is clearly visible but I can not see the lowside at all. Can anyone steer me to where I should look in the engine bay. Thanks in advance!

Is this a 3.0 SOHC, or DOHC?

Below is a diagram from my parts catalog for the DOHC one. I highlighted were the low/high side valve.

On my 2005 Taurus SE with a V6 3.0L Vulcan OHV FFV Motor, looks like the low side is near the Alternator.

No really? Seems that I could not find a Taurus forum atleast not one as helpful as this and I knew some people here have Taurus's. It is the SOHC and I believe it is the vulcan. Just couldn't spot it at all and I was looking forever. I guess I'll have my Dad check by the alternator as I am back at my second home.
