At dyno day, I discovered little dips of oil from my car. I tried a new oil pan drain plug, still leaking.

Took it in for a second look, cracked oil pan, and I am sure it was like this when I got the car in August. :P

Used car tip I didn't do well, LOOK UNDER THE CAR WITH BOTH EYES OPEN. I was so eager to get the car I only glanced at the exhaust pipes.

Anyway, Elmhurst Ford quoted $635, I went back to Landmark Ford and they said they would do it at "cost". About $350?

When I work on Monday I will see how much the dealership I work at will do it for.
I will let you know dude.
Sorry to hear this.

I got a good price from your dealer, Charlie, but B-town is a bit far and I don't want to pay for a rental.

Also, I am borrowing my friend's Z24 and he lives in city near Niles, so I took it to Landmark. They are going to do the job for $390, which is $100 off the regular price. This beats Elmhurst Ford across from me who wanted $635!

PS: This Z24 is a cracker box!

Car is fixed, $374 later. Next used car I buy, I will look over with another car buddy. Maybe can catch things I can't see.
