Hey Guys,

Been plowing through some previous threads about multi-channel amps. What are some of your recommendations on a 50-75X4 amp to power 4 pioneer 8X6 coaxles.

Thanks.....

I am an alpine v-12 man all the way. Check out ebay, you should be able to get a good deal on something. I also have an MTX 4 channel that I used to drive 2 subs and it banged. IT would drive door speakers with ease.

That's what I'm getting after I beat the **** out of guy and get my paycheck.

There are so many to choose from. How much do you want to spend?

lately ive been noticing what good deals you can get on US accoustics amps, ad their quality is fairly decent. not top notch, but well worth the dough. im actually considering buying 2 of their 2 channel amps

also keep your eye on auction sites, my brother got a 62.5x4 rockford (a company i just dont like as much as i used to, but anyway...) for almost 2/3 less than retail

I just bought this amp for $90,I didnt want to spend ANY money on my stereo but I put an 8" in the deck lid and wanted something cheap to push it,came across this and bought it.Brand new,has built in cross overs and is 2,3,4 channels. It sounds Ok for $90.It is supposed to be 200 wattsX4,but you know how that is way over rated.Looks good for a Pyramid amp though.

Alpine is always a good choice, the new V-12s seem to be very nice [I haven't owned one myself yet though]. I'm a huge old school Alpine guy and still run a nice 3553 and a 3550 as well.

My new favorites in the mid-price, good quality range are Cadence, Cross-Fire, and Planet Audio. I've got a Q3000 2 channel Cadence and my brother just picked up a Q4000 4 channel, very impressed with both for under $200 each.

Take a look at www.nexxon.com, they have about anything in car audio you'd ever want with excellent prices too. I buy all my stuff local, but use nexxon for price comparison and info all the time.

For low end stuff, Power Accoustic is about the best I've used- FWIW.

My favorite multi channel amps have always been made by a/d/s/. The original PQ and PH series were indestructible. I'm still using one 14 years after the original purchase.
