i'll swing by on sunday. and i'd like mine painted if it'll hold up? what do they look like unpainted? i have only seen the golden DMD.

unpainted:

you can kinda see the potential it has for rusting.
I spose I could go snap a better shot of it than that one, but that takes effort (and 2 flights of stairs).
:p

I'll be there all 4 days!! Oh, and let us know what color you want it painted. I have the following in high temp paint, but I might be able to get some more generic colors in high temp. The satin or semi-gloss will not be clear coated.

Gloss Black
Semi-Gloss Black
Aluminum
Clear
Semi-Gloss White

Geez, Brian - visit the site more often. Jay has the hardware for $6. laugh

What about Tensioner Tools and Damper pullers. Is someone renting these?
Posted By: Odysseus Re: OFFICIAL DMD THREAD - 08/06/02 01:57 PM
I plan on being there Saturday morning. If you guys want me to bring anything, let me know.

Elky - I would also like to change my oil and rotate my tires if the tools are available. Just a couple of jack stands and a torque wrench. Condo life is not friendly to DIY car maintenance. frown

Oh, I will probably put new fog light bulbs in and may need help in diagnosing a cracked housing.

Ford Blue for me baby!!!! eek

if you all want to show up anytime after 9 that is fine
you can do what ever you want to your car.
be it change the oil or whatever..

we should have everything needed to do this...

i only have two jackstands, and one is required for doing the dmd.

so extra jackstands will help if anybody has them.
i also only have one jack, so if anybody wants to bring one please do.

What do you all like for beer?

I got the belt from Ford. Also got Friction Modifier and Mobil 1 ATF. Can anyone guess what I wanna do??? Anyone with spare jackstands should bring them. I have a pair of homemade wooden ramps I can bring if anyone wants them (good for oil changes).

ok. i'll bring 2 jacks and 4 jack stands. i have a breaker bar too and some other tools. i think i'm just gonna do the DMD and wire up my amps for my stereo.

also, who do i contact about the fog light mod?

Fog light mod is easy. Get a 3M wire connector at Walmart and print out the directions in the FAQ. We can take it from there.

You going to run the wires from the battery back and hook up the distribution block and everything???? If so, I would love to help so I can learn and do a similar setup myself. I was thinking of running 4 gauge from the battery to the distribution block in the trunk. Then run 8 gauge to two amps.
