Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the Parking brake?

Install new rear brake pads?

already did that!!
but my p-brake lever still goes almost vertical and does't hold well at all.

I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be a "Self Adjusting" Parking Brake.

Supposedly it should take up the slack after you engage and disengage the brake a few times.

I think I read this on the forums somewhere.

Mine trips the dash light when I drive 'aggressively' so it might be TOO tight?

I usually find that if I just push it down, it stays out.

from my understanding there is no way to adjust the parking brake. mine is pulling very high but I also have drum brakes. If you like try running the adjuster out on the parking brake so you can just get the brake pads in. That might take up some slack.

JoNNy V if the brake light flashes when you are driving aggressively it might mean you are low on brake fluid and it is tripping the warning light

Depending on what actuates the mechanical parking brake inside the caliper, a series of ratcheting should do the trick. Usually there is a bendix (which is why you have to screw the piston back into the caliper to install new pads) inside the piston that allows the parking brake to mechanically index the piston when the brake lever is pulled, released and pulled. IIRC Some times it helps to hold the brake pedal down to insure that the piston is tight against the rotor.

If you just replaced the brake pads,
when you pull on the EM Brake, does it hold ?

You may have to stop on the brakes a few times to give the Rear Calipers a chance
to adjust the EM Rachet inside them.

Pulling a few times on the EM Lever is suppose to help them adjust as well.
You have to pull it as far as it will go, and then fully release it.
Think of it as a handle on a come-along.

Also make sure that the EM Cables are all lubricated,
and they are not sticking.
You may end up replacing the EM Cables if they are stretched or frozen.

Are you a religious EM Brake user ?
If you aren't then your cables may be frozen.

If you don't use the EM Brake, moisture gets inside the cables
and corrodes them solid. Using the EM Brake all the time
helps to break up the rust and corrosion and keep the cables free.

I never had any trouble with the e-brake after the kvr install. Did you do a good break in? I remember Mike having me check the brakes by pulling the ebrake while on the lift. Speaking of kvr's - they don't like the humidity. They squeek in the morning backing out of the driveway. Yuck.
