Posted By: Pascal Re: Good God - 05/23/02 11:22 PM
Reminds me of the flaps Nascar runs to keep the cars on the ground when they spin..

10mpg highway / 35mpg city on that Civic.. laugh

I would depressed to if I had to drive around with a wing like that I my car....

She's preying that it will just go away..
Posted By: RubberDuckySVT Re: Good God - 05/24/02 12:12 AM
1 - I think that is dangerous on a FWD car - the drive wheels are losing their contact with the road at highway speeds.

2 - That car used to get 35 mpg before he doubled his Coefficient of Drag.

3 - OMFG hideous Euros. They should be melted by some huge guy in the sky with a magnifying glass!

Other than the wing and tail lights, I think the car looks good tho.
Posted By: vcontoursvt Re: Good God - 05/24/02 01:06 AM
the woman is meditating next to the car, experiencing THE (down) FORCE!
Posted By: ExDelayed Re: Good God - 05/24/02 01:20 AM
Got Downforce?
Posted By: 2000SVTFlyboy Re: Good God - 05/24/02 01:25 AM

I was thinking the same thing. The tail lights aren't that bad. They could be much worse. The body kit and the wheels look good.

What's the point of the stickers on the rear window? You can't see them with that thing! A little more than a light breeze, and that thing is going to flip over! laugh

What's that chick sitting on the grass for when she has that beautiful seat sticking out of her boyfriends trunk lid?
Posted By: Speed Demon Re: Good God - 05/24/02 02:02 AM
i like it frown

those things on the back adjust the angle of the wing, and hes got em jacked all the way up, probably for an atrocious pic like he got.. the tails are kinda neat too

Is that spoiler some sort of Viagra substitute?
Posted By: Bicycle019 Re: Good God - 05/24/02 04:00 AM
If you look at the spoiler, it's one of the new ones that level out at speed. The patio door spring things control the motion... Looks like ass IMHO...
Posted By: Brad P Re: Good God - 05/24/02 05:14 AM
That wing thing looks like the awning off of some old building. You know the old aluminum ones.
It is really fugley.
....Brad
Posted By: Athlon7 Re: Good God - 05/24/02 05:20 AM
The sad thing is, it would look ok without the fugly wing!
Posted By: diabolik kustoms Re: Good God - 05/24/02 05:46 AM
the car is pretty phat w/o the wing being totally crooked...if he is goin to put a double stacker on the car, it should at least be put on the right way

I cant believe someone ruined a pefectly good spoiler by putting it on that CAR! laugh

The owner posts over at www.7thgencivic.com. That wing does move at, I believe 60 mph...
Posted By: LoCo Re: Good God - 05/24/02 06:52 AM
Why are you posting pics of your new car Kevin? :p
Posted By: The Striped Brick Re: Good God - 05/24/02 10:54 AM
Gotta have some downforce with that car, WOW eek
Posted By: NateCox Re: Good God - 05/24/02 02:36 PM
That probably cuts off 10 MPH and 10 MPG from the car.
Posted By: Icey Mike Re: Good God - 05/24/02 02:46 PM
I notice that the plates are from Michigan. I wouldn't be surprised that this piece of work is somewhere within GR.

And that wing is one of the new wings that automatically adjusts at certain speeds. But, at 0 mph it shouldn't go into "storage" mode! laugh

LOL, I didnt know you could buy an erector set like that. Wheres the landing gear though?
Posted By: WA2FAST Re: Good God - 05/24/02 04:29 PM
 I don't even want to get into it  That is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. No offense to anyone out there, but big wings are flat out gay.

It looks like an aluminum bench on his trunk, looks very comfortable. I would take that car by the airport, sit on the trunk, and watch the planes land like they did in the movie wink Wayne's World.
