I have decided to not offer these pieces anodized clear. They will not retain this beautiful luster once anodized. I do plan to have some anodized in our colors in the future.
I will have the first order in hand around the middle of the month. Once I receive them, I will place another order should there be enough interest.

I guess I'm confused. I thought they needed to be anodized in order to stay clean and non tarnished.
I'm sorry for any confusion and I was wrong in the information I was given that having them clear anodized would keep them shiny as well as seal them. When a part is clear anodized it comes out with a matte looking finish. I will continue to look for someone that can do just what I set out for.
Taking some Mother's polish to it every 2 or 3 months will help maintain the current finish. I did not do that with my other 2 caps for about 3 years and had to play catch up as a result.
The bottom line for me is I am not going to do something that will look like ass when it can look so much better. And while I wanted to have them anodized for easy care while you have it, I can't in good conscious do it.
We've all seen GB's come and go that don't care about what the end product looks like or how it functions and I WILL NOT fall into that category.

I also have konis so for me to be in the current shipped list does not work. Please give my set to someone else as apparently I wasnt following this close enough to know it wouldnt work with konis.

I am back stateside now and back to working on this. The first 10 pair are due next weekend to me from the machinist. I also wasn't supposed to be back so soon which is why they wont be ready until next week.

I have a test piece going out to be anodized today. Should there be no great discoloration then I will proceed with anodizing. Please remember that I will not accept a poorly made part so if it isn't right, it won't be offered.

I suspect it will be back to me about the end of the week or beginning of the week after. Basically, the same time I'll be getting the other parts. I even supplied them with a 2nd day envelope, already paid and addressed, to mail it back.

when do you need payment, right now or when teh product is ready for delivery?
It would be nice to have everyone paid up before it all gets done. That helps eliminate delays in shipping them out.

How is this working? Are you covering the cost of the 1st 10 caps, then we pay you and you send them. Or is it your waiting until the 1st 10 caps are paid for, and then sending money to recieve them from the machinest. I have my money here waiting for you, I just don't want to be in a situation where I pay and then am sitting around for a month or two waiting for everyone else to pay.

And yes, all the costs are being paid upfront by moi. That is being an entrepreneur. I have no problem doing that. I think it's the best way but I would like to see more than just a few people pay.
And so everyone knows, the first anodizer did a horrible job and did not deliver as expected. However, I do have another option and will be sending him the other test piece.

OK, so here is the deal. Having these pieces anodized and have them come out with a finish that is acceptable to my standards is not going to work out. Therefore, I will be refunding to those listed below the cost I estimated to cover anodizing cost. You will be receiving a USPS money order in the amount of $10.
To keep these pieces looking their best, simply polish with Mother's aluminum polish are anything good for T6061.

They will be back in the future when I can make up the difference lost. I will probably go about doing something different with the caps as well but we'll see.
EDIT: Assuming that I actually get a lunch break on Monday they will be in the mail then.
Two days and no time off from work yet. I did take tomorrow afternoon off and they will be in the mail tomorrow. And if not the mail, hopefully Fedex if I can make it in time. Everything is in my truck and ready to go so it's just a matter of me being able to get them in the mail.

Yesterday was another long day with no breaks. I didn't even get home until 11:30. Today, however, I just got up and walked out and took care of everything. So, they went out today, Priority mail with a 10 spot in the package. I know some said they didn't want it back and someone said they'd forget to cash the money order. But, tough, you're getting the difference back anyway. 
Hopefully most get's them by Saturday and thge last should be wednesday or thursday. I know everyone will enjoy them.

I'm really glad to hear that they are getting to someone so quickly and ya'll are happy. They really change the look of the engine bay don't they?
When I tried them on Elky's car I didn't notice any reason they would come off. Just make sure they are all the way down.
And I've had mine for 3-4 years and they've never even budged. As the suspension droops, they become almost impossible to remove. Try it the next time you jack the front end up.

I'm holding off getting anymore made because not enough were sold out of the regular ones to pay for the Koni ones. It will still happen but I'm now trying to fill the money pool back up after I did a cannonball. So, when I sell the remaining bits I can restart.
