BTW Hydramatic, is your 97 Mystique deceased? Perhaps I could buy your mass airflow sensor from you. Mine is going out and $100 for a rebuilt is too big of a penny for me while I'm in school.
I look forward to more discussions.
Welcome to CEG! Actually the guys over at Garland Transmission revived my baby and sold it to some middle-age chick, who as I'm told, has now removed the "Merc-0-Matic" letters from the windshield. It took me forever to put those things on! If you ever see a Prairie Tan '97 Mystique running around with BF Goodrich Radial T/As with the white letters OUT, that was my old car. Now I drive the Uberado but I still have a couple parts for the Mystique laying around. I don't have my MAF, but I do have the original Throttle body, as well as a passenger side mirror (power) and some various odds and ends...
If there's ever anything you need, I can always keep an eye out the next time I go down to Pick N Pull down going towards Poteet. Just ask me and I'll see about picking it up. If I recall correctly, there was a 96-97 Mystique with a Zetec and the 5-speed out there. I didn't check to see if the MAF was still there, but it probably was.
