Why don't you tell us what you are trying to do? You have asked about Taurus struts and now ZX2 springs. Neither of those cars have any common suspension parts with Contours.
If we knew what you are trying to do we may be able to help.

one of my dads friends has a contour and i didnt know if they had any kind of suspension parts in common.

The Contour has the same suspension as the new Mercury Cougar, the Mercury Mystique, and that's it. No parts from any other car are interchangeable.
