At low speeds my car makes sort of a "wobbling" pulsing-type sound. I don't know how else to describe it but it happens with each turn of the wheel. It's just a minor thing...would this indicate that my car is out of alignment? Or would it be I have worn wheel bearings or something? My car has 108,000 miles and I probably had it aligned last two years ago (12,000 miles ago - my commute changed so I don't drive as much as I used to).

Thanks for your help!

I had a wobbling sound (and a nasty vibration at highway speed) from a CV joint that was bad. Replaced the axle halfshaft and it's good now.

Might also feel your tires for bubbling and weird tire wear, that sort of thing. You could always jack it up, too and pull out on the top and bottoms of the wheels and see if you can feel any slop in the wheel bearings.

Good luck.

Mine had a whup, whup, whup sound when a rear wheel bearing went bad. It wasn't real loud but the frequncy increased with road speed. I sat in the back seat and opened each door while someone else drove to isolate which side it was.
