Sway bar ripped off the subframe. Decisions

Ripped out the rt side of rear sway bar mount from subframe (21mm). Any advice on best replacement part. BAT sells their strengthened replacement for $395. Bill Jenkins is somewhere around $195. Im starting to think I should go with Bill and have a shop strengthen the sway bar mounting brackets.
One other question. Comments on replacing stock rear sway bar end links.
Thanks in advance.

And then the shop is going to charge $100+ to it. Or you can save yourself the hassle and do it right the first time.

I second that thought.

The problem is there is very little area to weld it to for starters. IIRC when boxing in the rear mounts you have to add metal on 3 sides. (don't recall off hand it's been a while)
Once it is torn off you would have to build a new platform from new metal. That is provided it left any of the mounting pad on the subframe.

It is easy to figure out when you are looking at the stock bracket mount. It's nothing more then a thing piece of metal bent to mount the bushing bracket. Without dropping the subframe you can box in 2.5 sides. By dropping the subframe you can box in the rest of the inside.
I did mine without dropping the subframe and it has held up just fine. I am using beefier bushing brackets and make sure to lube the bar often. The stock brackets are weak and dry bushings increases the stress on the mounting pad.

Demon what did you mean "By dropping the subframe you can box in the rest of the inside"?
What else can be improved?

He probably jsut means you cant get to half of one of the last side with the subframe in. IE you can only box 2 full sides, but if you were to drop the subframe you could get to that lst half of a side...
