Found a guy with a 2000 black SVTC (60K, stock) and he recently joined as JamesJ.
Let's welcome him correctly to the SC forum with a PM or something, and see if we can't get his nice, but overdue-for-some-maintenance car back on track..

Thats awsome its always good to get new people on here. This site has helped me so much even before i bought my SVT i would come to this site just to read the forums and get ideas for my ride since i knew i wanted an SVT.

It took me about a year to join - never really needed to respond just look at others cars and went...wow I must do that.

I didn't know about this site until after I bought mine. I called 1-800-FORDSVT for "moosing" and he referred me to CEG. This site has kept me relatively sane and prevented alot of suicidal behaviors.  My CEL just went off  (again)

I called them because my car was emitting a "foghorn" sound when it was cold outside. He started laughing and mumbled something about "Moosing" and told me to check the CEG forum.
... and I've been pissing off CEGers ever since.

Hah, that is funny!
For reference, if anybody still has warranty left, well extended. If you tell tell the dealer it is making a "hooting" noise, you can get a new IAC valve. My throttel hangs like mad and that is also a side effect of a bad IAC Valve.

Is 1-800-FORD-SVT where I can call to get my production number? I called them to talk about front springs and I dont think that number works anymore. Thanks
