Does anyone have a pic of their y-pipe after the modifications? I'd like to do this to mine but would like a visual, just to make sure I don't screw it up!

Here is a 'clone' of the SHO shop Ypipe with a dual inlet cat.
..
Have a shop cut out the crush merge and the 180 bend. Reverse the 90 bend from the rear bank and couple to your main cat. A better flex pipe is also good to add to the system.

is there anyone that will do this, My car is broke down for at least a few weeks, if i could get this done it would be awsome. And it seems all the local muffler shops wont do it cause its before the cat. and "it can affect emissions"

During the few weeks you speak of, will you be optimizing the shifter thingy?
We have a couple very experienced welders/mechanics if you can make it down this way they may be able to hook you up.
Let me know, we could get all of San Diego involved.

Yeah, I think we need to do a junkyard run down in south bay to get a y-pipe core. That way there won't be any down time. Although that may not be an issue with Dub

For the amount of time it takes and the trouble they have to go through you'd be better off buying one, you'd probably spend less.

Sounds good to me. The welder, shop, etc. are taken care of. We need a car and parts and it will happen. Don't be shy now ... I volunteer to NOT go first! Well maybe w/the SE. Thinking I may not need a Y pipe when I upgrade the SVT.
