i currently have a K&N conefilter. a friend of mine sales/makes intakes for Maxima's his shop is out of palmer MA www.frankencar.com . Anyway he carries APexi dry filters that supposedly flow alot better. i know for a fact he dynoed both K&N and the apexi back to back the same day on the same dyno and got something like 3 or 4 more hp then the K&N. the apexi is also a $80 filter do you think the extra money this filter cost is worth the 3 or 4 hp ?

i seriously doubt that filter would produce 3-4 hp more than a k&n on ANY car on the dyno...i wouldn't waste $80 dollars on a filter personally...

IF ... that filter could net an additional 3-4 HP on top of the gains from K&N I would buy one, maybe two! $/HP wise that seems pretty damn good to me. As always, I'll wait and see what happens when a few others post, I'll bet we find out some technical stuff, and if these claims can't be backed up, we get entertained.
