Since you aren't concerned about how loud or quiet the car is, I say Magnaflows. Not ricey at all!
Personally I thought my car was too quiet with the Magnaflows. It's a nice sounding exhaust but not loud enough for me. I solved that problem by getting headers.

I love the sound of my TruBendz Borla. I've heard both Borla and Magnaflow, and they're pretty similar, but I just love the sound the Borla makes at an idle, and at WOT, it just can't be beat. I have a Cougar, with no resenators, but I sure it sound just the same on a Contour. Its not too loud either, unless you want it to be, and there is little to no drone on the highway (I drive 100 miles round trip every MWF to college). I'll try and post a sound clip of a trubendz Borla later.

Borla TruBendz This is not my car, but another NECO members, wadespencer99. This clip is what made me buy my Borla. His setup is Gutted Precats > stock Y pipe > Trubendz high flow cat > Trubendz Borla. It sounds great, and you'll love it.
