It really sucks to wake up one morning and walk outside to go to work and find nothing but broken glass in the driveway. Took me a little while to recover from that financially.

In September of 03, I had finally got enough cash together to buy the SVT.

I bought my SVT in the beginning of senior year of high school.

I loved it then and I love it more now.

sweet..your a freshamn in college! just like me!! we def. gotta meet up this summer

We will for sure. You gotta come down and cruise the Berlin Turnpike here some weekend. It's pretty fun when you got nothing to do on the weekends. So many damn cars, and the SVT turns alot of heads. I spotted svtavino a couple times.

Wow! D@mn! I used to cruise the Berlin Turnpike with my cousin. I've been out to connecticut a bunch of times. Cruising there was CRAZY. Much better than anything we have in Michigan besides woodward. Only downside is it was mostly imports. But man I've never seen crusin like that.

I'm probably going to make a trip out there early this summer.

Yeah. It's crazy there on the weekends. Last summer had the most cars there on the weekends of any summer I've gone.

Your right, it is mostly ghey imports, but it's so fun destroying them when the light turns green. (this is on the local track around the corner of course ).

It gets so crazy with the cars that the local PD contracts about 8-10 tow trucks that go up and down the turnpike and tow any cars that are loitering in parking lots. They don't care what you say to them to try and stop them. They will tow it with you sitting in the car. Not to mention you get stopped just for driving on the turnpike. Don't have to do anything wrong. I see them using the unmarked Camaro to stopped some cars.

I saw someone in a Jetta about to get towed at Taco Bell this summer, and the tow truck would not let him go. So he hopped in the car, threw it in reverse, drove up over the curb, onto the grass and took off.

Good times, good times.

guess i lucked out, we got an amazing deal on my car that we just couldn't pass up.

Less than 60k miles, perfect shape, ran great (and still does with a few more miles and mods), set of winter wheels and tires, aftermarket stereo (which swaped all out but door speakers anyway), and mind you a CSVT! price negotiated at $6000.

~Alex

yeah, me too, 32k mile, excellent condition, excellent interior, leather and wood grain, and never had one mechanical problem yet, (except that pesky CEL) for $7,500 i love my baby
