Anyone have any idea what kinda spider this might be. It's obviously female since it's carrying a egg basket. But any idea of the species?

I don't know what kind of spider that is, but unless you took that picture with some sort of telescopic lens you are much closer to it than I would ever get.

It looks like ones we get around here that we call wolf spiders. We call them that because they will stand half way up and show there fangs before sinking them in. They can cause nasty bites, my mother in law get bit once and passed out, woke up right as the ambulance got there (10-15 min). Be wary of these spiders in fact I would introduce it to that shovel you are holding, especially if there is little kids around.

I wouldn't be too worried. Only black widows and brown recluses have fatal bites in the U.S. Yeah other spiders here can hurt you but you'll live.

I am glad it makes everyone feel good to kill something maybe 1/100th of your size...

They can run , if im faster or smarter than them , then thats how nature works. Should i feel good if i kill a horse just caue im 1/2 his size?
ANYWAY , after i kill them i dont walk around saying "WOW I FEEL GREAT~! i just killed a spider. I kill them so there are less of them around my house.
