For 20K the SRT-4 beats both of those cars accross the board. 1/4 mile, 0-60 time, skidpad, slalom, etc, etc...

Have you heard of the One Lap of America???? SRT-4 placed 8th way ahead of all the EVO's, STI's and everything. Even beating out a Lamborghini Diablo.... Take it for what it's worth.

I say get the G35 coupe, I have driven the Z and the G35 coupe and I have to say that the G35 coupe is amazing to drive and you can drift that thing so easy and the exhaust note is enought o make me want to buy it. I also think the G35 coupe looks better than the Z. If you have any questions shoot me a PM my brother is a Nissan/Infiniti mechanic and can tell you all about the G35 and the Z.

I don't think there many 1 Lap entries that featured an unmodded car with amateur drivers. Unless that SRT-4 is running 30 lbs of boost and on qualifying slicks with Michael Schumacher behind the controls, I'm impressed.

Yes indeed it is just a NEON . Let me explain something to you. As you move up in age people tend to put the childish things aside. If was looking for a new car right now you can best believe a NEON would not be on my list. If I am paying 20k+ for a car you can best believe it better have some status to it and the NEON just does not cut. I don't care how fast it it. Ofcoure, this is just my .2

Sounds like a man who just got beat by a neon. Some status?? Get an RSX then and you can go over to RSXworld.com and join the SRT-4 hating over there. It's funny how soo many people are hung up on the 'it's just a neon' statement. IMO that's the only cut down you have. Ever seen one in real life? Ever driven one, or even riden in one? Didn't think so.

Agreed. The cobra interior, in my opinion, fits the car just right. Very straight forward. Although, if your a big guy like AndyW, this is not the car for you. The driver's seat is the best. Adjustable bolsters. The seat feels like your being hugged. The steering wheel is padded leather wrapped. Very nice grip.

Best priced car for the power. Can't beat $35k for a 12 sec car right out of the box. I added a densecharger and ran a 8.0 in the 1/8th mile.

An RSX riiiiiight. That is no better then your prized NEON only much slower.

ATL-SVT, if your happy with your purchuse then fine. All I am saying is when I start looking for my next car it will be in the likes of BMW, AUDI etc. In my life I am done with the "boy racer image." The reason I have my contour still is because I do not see the logic in buying a 30k to 50k while I am still living at home or in a apartment.

It's unfortunate that you've made it this far in life without having been knocked of the pedestal you put yourself on. When you get your beemer, or your audi call me and I'll show you why my SRT-4 looks like from the back.

Based on your responses to this point, I surmise that you must be at the cool age where "image" is no longer an issue (it's all in your head), now "status" is the in thing. Did I hit the nail on the head or what??? Your signature is very suitable to your attitude by the way.
