[CHECKING] Alex Peper OBD-II Scan Tool
#387419 - 08/25/03 06:55 PM

I want to buy one of those things...

I know they had a group buy the Ford Taurus but I think the GB is already closed... because I emailed them and it bounced back.

How about if we open a group buy on that thing ??

IIRC the GB can get up to 30% OFF if more than 15 units.

Here is the link for the Alex Peper OBDII:

I think the interface was designed to use little computer resources.

Nothing fancy.

Any 386 should be able to use it.

(at least i am hoping for that, cause we have (3) 386 laying around the office... I 'll just take one for me).

He he he....

Regarding the discount... the GB is a good idea.. but actually I could get the student discount anyway....

It doesn't matter... if we gather 10-15 people here we go witht he GB.. if not, I'll buy with the student discount.

I've run it on a 486 SLC/33 w/ 4MB of RAM and no mouse under Windows 3.1. No problems there. A little clunky using it w/o a mouse, but I figured it out.
