Caps that cover the screws on the wiper cowl
#1294854 - 08/07/06 12:09 AM

I SWEAR I just read apost on this, and I tried searching to no avail with different queries, oh well...

The subject says it all. Had my cabin air filter changed and a couple of the caps that go over the screws on the wiper cowl broke, as i heard you really cant reuse them. Need to get some more... any rrefernces to the post that had that info, or any other info would be appreciated!

I think you will need to PM Bill Jenkins on this one.

Yeah, really noticeable if you're missing 1 or 2 of them.

Brass finish screw ≠ black plastic cowl!

I blasted the screw with a mini shot of flat black spray paint. Works fine.

Also, speaking of this, I picked up a cabin air filter on Amazon for $10. Definately a good deal!

Bosch cabin air filters are the exact cabin air filters as Fords'. They sell them for $12 at Autozone.

Oh wow, I always couldn't find them any cheaper than $18.
