why not use google Adsense or something? we get alot of hits - maybe even a few $$ from that? one little banner won't kill the site

But the point is we want to keep the site ad free.
i understand, but maybe make it a low-cost membership site - to remove ads for members, and keep the ads for browsers and non-memebers?
i dunno - it just seems to make sense...

As long as it doesnt get as bad as SRTforums ill be fine! Nothing like having words hyperlinked to vendors in your post, or having Ad breaks in there too!

Nope, that's just the money that came in from the raffle items. Elky's can brought in just over $200 he said. So just under $1000!! Good job everyone!
