Well it seams like UPS only for Canada then, due to their COD policy on brokerage fees.
And hopefully I get my money back from the deadbeats before I am forced to air their names on the CEG.

I say just air them, they should know that it is thier responsiblity to pay the duty/prokerage fees.
Also FWIW, if you send stuff USPS likely the brokerage fees will only be $5 and the rest will be the tax as expected. Sometimes (well most of the time for me) you usually get away with no duty being assesed, but in order to recieve the package you do have to pay before hand. As far as I know it's only FedEx and Purolator that have the policy where they send you an invoice after the fact. My only issue with UPS is their outrageous brokerage fees. 99% of the time thier brokerage fee is more than the acutual duty owed (i.e. $50 on a $75-100 item)

Honestly, if it isn't urgent for the buyer, send them US Mail. UPS charged my uncle $50 for brokering a freaking SHIRT! It's a ripoff. I got a bunch of stuff from Carparts.com shipped US mail, and by the time it got to me, I had to pay $13 in duties. Now, I VERY rarely buy from any company that ships UPS.

UPS have a minimum brokerage fee ... that's why you got hit with $50. For things like that shirt always go through the mail. For the more expensive items, it's not such a big difference.

I just want to say that the brakes stazi sells are top notch. I have been using them pretty hard for 3 days now and I am really impressed. Thanks again Stazi!

Thanks for the kudos.
The buyer I was speaking of earlier has been sent a final notice to pay his brokerage fees. If I don't get them by the end of business on Thursday, I will be putting his name up in a "Deadbeat" post in the General Section of the CEG Forums.

I assume so, john (chknhwk) came up and helped me out with it and we bedded them after installing.

Or maybe he ment seating them. Bedding them sounds sort of perverse.
