Question: Am I safe to assume that the temporary spare will fit over the rear brakes?
If not, it should be noted that a full sized 16" spare will be required - Just in case.

I think he is refering to the title of the thread "300mm x 280mm" brake upgrade... that would be one big rotor!

Won't need wheels I guess. LOL
Yea, lol.
It fills up the stock hardware completely and near stock harware pretty well. After going through the measurements on the FSVT wheels I had it ended up that I couldn't keep those rims and still get one of your nice brake kits unless I ended up with just the similar sized 12" rotors with the high dollar calipers. To me it wasn't worth an extra $1000 over FSVT brakes to keep my current rims and get better brakes. So it was either shell out $1800 to convert over to yours, or this.
So economics took over at that point.
For me to have gotten your larger rotors I'd have had to add another $1000 just for an average set of rims and tires. I admit I wasn't about to put in another $3K to the car when just the FSVT upgrade would suffice as I only needed a moderate increase in breaking performance.

Because usually a rotor is 300mm x 15mm (diameter x thickness), where in the title it says 300mm x 280mm...which would make the rotor more like a Flintstone wheel!
Get it!?

Yeah, now I do. I just automatically associated the 280 with the rear, not width as the title has. I couldnt figure out what was wrong. Thanks

Well yea! Flintstone rotors are the best because you never get any brake fade due to all the added mass. You think if they figured it out in the stone age you guys would get it by now.... Geez
