local meet?

What's up everybody? Does anyone know when someone is going to put to gether a local meet? Kinda new to this site but I have had my svt for about 4 years. Never met anyone with an svt around here. I live in Ft.Worth and can't wait to go to a meet. Thanks.

The Gingerman is a pub in Dallas. We used to meet there several years ago. Rumor has it that someone planned a meet there last year, but I wasn't able to go.

It's not necessarily what would be easiest for everyone. In most cases, it turns out to be what's easiest for everyone who would show up.
I live in Denton and work in Las Colinas, so anything on the north side of town isn't bad. Arlington might be doable, but I'd probably rather not, especially considering I work until eleven on Fridays and Saturdays.
Only other problem is that no one (read: NO ONE) lives on the north side of town, with the considerable exception of Kokopuffian and me.

Up I-35 just north of the the Bush Turnpike. Once you pass the exit for the Turnpike, you're pretty much in Lewisville until you get to the lake.

lol I live in Keller/Roanoke. I live in Kellers Tax/School district but in Roanokes mailing/Address area. The great part is Keller and Roanoke dont come near our area because neither have a clue about jurisdiction and where they are allowed to patrol.

I will be in Dallas Thursday of next week until Sunday working. Hopefully there will be a meet around that time and I can meet some of you folks. I'll be at the big GM show thats going on there too.

Thats a good idea except I can't hang out at the show since I will be working but if we all can meet up in the evening for dinner that would be cool. As for driving the Hummer and the GTO sure, but I only work the Hummer course. You will have a trained pro driver riding in the passenger seat of the GTO and the Vette. All I ask is that you guys don't go crazy in the vehicles lol.
