It is a viatnamese noodle soup. It is yummy.
Pho is pronounced Fu or Fa. Last week in the outskrirts of Houston I saw a place called Pho King. Pronounced Fu King. I have the picture on my phone. There is also a place in downtown Houston called Fu Kim.

i am not much for noodley type foods. don't like chinese, vietnamese, thai, etc... i am more of an italian and all-american food fan. i good eat italian all day long
my stuffed burgers are fantastic though. i take come ground beef and make 2 thinner patties out of it, put some shredded cheddar cheese on one of them and some sweet bbq sauce on the other. smush 'em together and press them closed at the edges. grill and serve

Koko took me to lunch the other day to the really good thai place. I ordered citrus beef which was good, but the noodles were the size of the earthworms you cut up in science class and I couldn't bring myself to eat them. They were friggin HUGE!

No, Ohio is the opposite direction, not that I have heard much to recommend it. Indy is about a 700 mile drive, not terribly unpleasant if you avoid Chicago (I've driven there three times for my rotary meets).
You just take 74 west through Champaign to Bloomington/Normal, 39 North to Rockford, 90 West to Rochester, and 52 North is within a few miles...

story time!
so i went to the mall this afternoon with one of my straight guy friends (one of the coolest people in the world ). he wanted to get some new CD's and i wanted to get some more body spray/shower gel stuffs. after we get the CD's from Sam Goody (love that place) we hit Bath & Body Works. we go through squirting each other with the body sprays and smelling, etc... to find one i really like. about 10 minutes into our visit there, an employee comes up and asks in a non-inquisitive tone "Oh, you two aren't together, are you?" my friend was sort of taken aback by the question/comment, and i answered, "no." the employee then began flirting with me pretty aggressively until we finally found the scent i wanted (sun rippened rasberry ) and went to the checkout. once my friend and i got back to the car he said he was fairly hurt that the employee just assumed we weren't together. he was wondering if he wasn't cute enough to be gay/with me and if there was something wrong with him in general. it seemed an amusing situation to me, but my friend was actually quite upset by it. then i f*cked him so he would feel a bit prettier. the end.

T2 Hydra? C'mon. It was pretty good and all, as far as sequels go, but it can't touch the original. Better one liners, "I'll be back!" Better story ultimately, and Arnold was so much closer to his Mr. Universe physique during the original. Plus, he was the good guy in T2. He's much better as the evil robot (although Robert Patrick did a fine job too).
TR - When it comes to Monty Python movies, I personally prefer Life of Brian to The Holy Grail. Maybe it comes from being a preacher's kid, and the whole insane blasphemous nature of the movie. It's hard to beat a bunch of guys being crucified and singing, "Always look on the bright siiiiide of life!" And don't forget the Roman who had the name "Incontinentia Buttocks"

Terminator and Terminator 2 were OK movies. I wouldn't care to see them again, but I enjoyed them while I saw them.
Scarface, didn't tempt me to see it. I wouldn't enjoy it, so I have no intention on seeing it. Apocalypse Now, had to see that for a class. It is a great movie as a work of art, and I absolutely hated it.
I like to watch movies for fun and to be happy.

Scarface, didn't tempt me to see it. I wouldn't enjoy it, so I have no intention on seeing it. Apocalypse Now, had to see that for a class. It is a great movie as a work of art, and I absolutely hated it.

i am quite diverse in my movie selection. i am sucker for Steven Segal and Jean-Claude Van Damme movies (love martial arts/action movies). I also like comedies a lot! My absolute favorite genre is thriller/psychological thrillers. I guess if i had to name some of my favs off the top of my head:
Bloodsport
Kickboxer
Under Seige
Super Troopers
Office Space
Stepmom
Hostel
there are TONS more (i'm a movie buff ), but those come to mind immediately
and zoomy, i can go as long as you need darling

+1 on undubbed Mad Max. The movie sounds retarded with the American dubs on. Perfect car in my opinion, at least style-wise.
What about The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly? That is one of my favorite movies ever. Equilibrium and Kill Bill vol.1 are also at the top of my list.

Oh HELL YES!!! One VERY overlooked and underrated movie! I thought it was going to be a cheap Matrix knockoff. Boy was I ever wrong! Kick-ass fight scenes, good story. For those that don't know, kind of a cross between "Farenheit 451" and "1984", with a little bit of Matrix-style costuming.
Spaghetti Westerns rule too! If you've never seen it, check out "My Name Is Nobody" starring Terence Hill and Henry Fonda. Pretty much anything from Sergio Leone will be an entertaining watch!

I don't have to be one to appreciate what a badass Arnold was during his "Pumping Iron" days. Pretty interesting movie there too. ....And I didn't put in the droolie!
Cube was pretty trippy. I liked it when I saw it on SciFi. Haven't seen Cube 2 though.

Zatoichi - believe it or not, I think that was on IFC a month or two ago. Caught a few minutes of it.

The link you provided was for a movie, not several movies (series). I read the plot summary, looked at the pics, and it was on IFC a month or two ago.

It's ok because I was talking about the movie I linked. I have not seen the series, so I can not say that they are as good as the one I saw. I would hope they would be. It is a great fun flick to check out. Most people won't watch because of the subtitles, which I only notice for about a minute or two. I think it is cool you watched some of it. If you get the chance again, watch it.

I did not get Napoleon Dynamite at all. Supposedly it's better with repeat watchings, but I'm hesistant because if it's still not good, then I'll be doubly pissed that I wasted my time twice.

Sorry, but Napoleon Dynamite bored me too. Airplane is good, love Dave, Office Space was great until it tried to develop a plot, Love Actually is awesome.
For me, The Cutting Edge and Sweet Home Alabama are my two faves.
