Zetech throttle cable

Does the zetech throttle cable work with an SVT throttle body?

I have the zetech but the wire cable seems to be much shorter at the throttle body.

first its zetec.

why would you be trying to use a zetec throttle cable on a duratec? if the cable is shorter then it isn't going to work. compare the 2 if you have them. otherwise you just need the cable from an atx contour with the duratec.

Well the cable broke on my current one, so I went to the junkyard and saw that the zetec cable looked the same, but its not. The actual cable inside is much shorter where it connects to the tb, so it wont work. ATX duratec cable is already in and working.
