Well, after some discussion about roof racks for our tours I went ahead and took the plunge on a universal roof rack. Im not 100% satisfied how it turned out, but I understand the adage, "you get what you pay for". With that being said, I can see how this could be made to easier mount to our tours. Its not hard to begin with, I just dont like how the clips hook to the door seals.
This is how I ended up mounting it, but the directions say to mount it on top of the seals. The kept slipping off when mounted per instructions. As you can see, there will probably be issues with leakage. I might try to bend these clips to follow the body curves and mount them under the top seal instead of under the door weatherstripping. I feel if I had the yakima Q clips, I could adapt them to work.

All in all, not too bad for $34 after my military discount.
