Rocker Panels

My rocker panels are starting to crumble from rust. Someone mentioned filling them with spray foam, covering it with bondo, then coating that with bed liner. Any tips or hints?

for the price of some of the replacement rockers even if you had to pop rivet them on I think this would be a much better way to go

using fiberglass instead of bondo is a better idea. the bondo would break off every time you jacked the car up or entered a raked driveway at an angle since our chasis isnt the stiffest in the world
