Need input on these tires

The tire circumferance is too large . See the link below, I compared it to sizes closer to the stock recommended sizes. Usually it will show the percentage the speedo will be off if the tire is not in the recommended range usually less than 3 percent. But its not working.

Just enter some different sizes and see for yourself.

I run 205-55 With snow tires on my Stock rims. With zero issues. 215's may rub the plastic liner under heavy load or high speed bumps.

The rubbing will occur mostly on the rear wheels (inner/rear part of the wheel). Making minor adjustments with the plastic liner, moving it back and closer to the rear will help a great deal.

I use Bridgestone Turanza LS-V 205/55-R16 tires. My car is not lowered in any way and seems to have sufficient clearance to go to a 215 if I had wanted.

i actually have 225/50 on my wheels right now with no rubbing issues, stock suspension, i think its the higher sidewall that will not work, so I'm going to see if they have some 215/50's since I've already been told I can't get 225/50's I can only get a dicount on what ever they have on hand.

Do you need new tires? Is there some kind of rule that you cant get them for free/cheap and then sell them off?

i would need new tires in about a month or so, I could sell these ones if i wanted too. The tires are all season's so I'm probably just going to throw them on my e1's and save up for some nice wheels & tires
