Anyone know of a good place to buy metal stock? Looking for aluminium mainly, possible steel. Preferably a place that may sell something other than 8' and 12' rails. I'm looking to make some brackets in 1/2" plate, but parts won't really need to more than 12" a piece.

Not sure where your from in "eastern PA" But if your near lancaster/hershey area. Tool shed of america on rt 230 between elizabethtown and mount joy has a good selection of aluminum and steel. Pretty much anything you can think of.
