maf adapter question fittament

I was wondering if there is a maf adapter sold on ebay that will fit my 2000 csvt. don't see a specific fit one but they have them for taurus and escort and stuff. wondering cause i just bought one from some one here and i believe I got burnt the holes don't line up at all. so much for trust i guess.

Here's info about some MAF adapters. I requested it be added to the FAQ listing many years ago... but never got a reply.

I know the Mirko adapter is good (if it's still being made). The KKM adapter is supposed to be good, but I've never seen one. Also, the cheap Spectre model is supposedly a good fit. Avoid the BAT / SP Motorsports adapter though.

Yes the KKM adaptor is good. Have one for my SVT and one on a 80mm Ford Maf.

Yea I have the KKM for my 80mm MAF. The one that came with the turbo kit was crap.

The irony is that the MAF adapter that came with the ADC turbo kit was also crap. I replaced it with a 95mm "SprayItRacing" MAF adapter for the 80mm MAF.

wouldn't you agree that if the maf adapter opening is smaller than the maf opening itself that it is just going to be a restriction

Personally, having a MAF adapter with an entrance smaller than the MAF entrance would be unacceptable. I originally got a BAT adapter, since everyone on the forum said that was the one to get. But it was smaller... and that started to bug me. So that's when I started looking into all the other available adapters... and decided to get the Mirko one.

Pretty sure my SVT has the BAT adapter. From what I read, it is slightly smaller... From the choices at the link above, I think the only one left in production is the Spectre MAF adapter. I'll be getting that one soon, I guess!

hey I just ordered a maf adapter yesterday from ebay. it is listed for the taurus and sable but i did the measuring and should be a perfect fit for the csvt. only cost 10.00
I'll let you know how it works out

I completely forgot about NPG. They have one too that seems to be the correct size. It is $45 shipped.
I'll wait to see what you find about that ebay piece.

hey the piece from ebay score. it fits great 3.5 filter attachment and perfect size to match maf opening. how do i post pics here can put one up
