low volume in speakers

i have Infinity Kappa interior speakers in my doors, when i got the car only front passenger door worked. so i checked all the connections & noticed that he didnt cap or tape the splices & the wire that was showing was kind of corroted. i cut the bad wire off & respliced them & put connectors on. now they seem to work but the rears are very quiet compared to the passenger & the drivers 1 is ok @ times. itll play normal volume like the the passenger but then itll cut down to a quiet sound like the rears

Sounds like the factory amp is bad. Mine was like this with the fronts when I got it mainly the drivers most. Just bypass the amp and you should be good. Search for the amp bypass how to.
