Light knocking

I'm getting some knocking when I go over irregular surfaces or small shallow pot holes. It also looks like the tops of the struts are not centrally located in the strut towers. I'm thinking the installation kits that fit on the of the tower and locate the strut are breaking up or(??) I get no in & out movement of the LCA or wheel bearing, sway bar links look ok as do the bushings. Ideas please????

Im getting a similar sound. I just replaced the LCAs and wheels bearings for other reasons. Car drives smoother/tighter. But i have a similar light knock at slow speeds over werid surfaces. Im thinking the rubber strut mounts.

I think to test, you can just unhook one sway bar endlink and if the noise goes away thats the problem. Taking one off will remove the load/tension...
