Key pad starter?

title says it all. I was watching the transporter 1 and 2 today and i love the key pad thingy to start the car. Was wondering if anyone has tried this.i kno its a complete waste and theres no reall use of it but i think it would be fun to have.

I seen something like that back in 1996 in like a jegs catalog lol! Looked like a regular phone keypad dealie. Ya Im sure it would work but would require you to "bury" a key inside your vehicle at all times if you have PATS module, this is what I have to do in my ride due to the PATS, but I kinda would like to do the Honda S2000 rice "start" button lol. Might have to lose the initial key click to ACC though I think? Thoughts? Maybe press star for ACC and/or Pound then code for ignition? lol Hey, how bout fingerprint start eh? eh? Lexus baby.

actually there is a company that makes the finger print starters

450 buxs for one but it can be programed for 97 fingerprints

hope u dont let that many people use your car.

how about go drive around drunk and get made to put one of those breathalizer interlocks in the car. Would be fun to rig that up to start the car by blowing into it.:laugh:
