Intake filter gains, proof.

Looks more like a difference in engine and outside temperatures. I have had an OEM contour air box on a flow bench and there was no difference between having a paper filter in it, a K&N filter in it, and no filter at all. IDK how an amsoil filter could change anything. The openings in the air box are bigger restrictions than the filter. But I admit, there may be a difference in the SVT air box. Still though, I have tested it on a stock Contour, Escort GT, and a Grand Prix air box and never saw any difference, but only because those are the only ones I had available when I was doing it.

OH well, I use an NPG CAI anyways.

Interesting...because 6whp couldn't be dyno error....especially when the tq numbers are the same .

Very interesting...now everyone watch out for doyel

LOL. Those are great filters even though I've never understand why they say they're only good for 4 years. As for the "speaking for itself" though I'd like to see a clean paper filter go up against a clean replacement filter with 3 runs each just to eliminate that natural power difference you normally get between runs.

I'm almost tempted to join that forum to ask them how many pulls they did and what kind of OEM filter/how clean it was that they used.

Most people just join the circle jerk when someone can find something that can substantiate why they spent money on something. I bet you I could recreate that kind of dyno graph with and without an intake tornado on a stock system. Doesnt mean that it would prove the tornado would work, but anyone who spent money on one would say make it their bible.
