Here's my area. Its -12 right now, and supposed to be -20 at 6 A.M. Oh yea, thats without the wind chill. And the SVT's outside. The block heater is useless

Your car wont be warm with a block heater in these conditions. But it is of greatest uses in these conditions. if you could get actually temp readings your engine is decently warm with the block heater in.

Van Battery = 1 yr old
SVT battery = Original

Van = No Start
SVT = Fired right up

Helps that the car is in the garage, but still the garage is detached and not heated.

TL started but its been sitting outside at work all night, thank god for heated leather seats!

Wife said the truck had a hard time starting. Digital thermometer in truck read -30 Her TL was reading between -17 and -22 the whole ride home.
I'll be happy when he hit 30 next week and I can function outside in my garage without frostbite.

My school finally decided to close, so I guess this weathers good for one thing.

Never lets me down. Its just a painful start, with the timing chain tensioner. Ughh, that noise:nonono:

My SVT is at about 60-65 degrees in the garage. No problems with both SHO's starting but wife said the heater in her car hardly worked on the way to work. She said it was fine on the way back.
