Crankshaft Swap 2.5 to 3.0

Anyone ever swap crankshafts from the 2.5 to the pre-2000 3.0 Duratec?
From the measurements I see online they are identical.

I know there is a crank bearing issue with 3.0 swaps into MTX applications but how hard is this modification?
Just wondering if there is a difference in the two that would preclude a swap.
And please note this is an interchange question not whether or no this is a good or bad idea.

Same block ( different bore ), same crankshaft, same rods. They are interchangeable so go for it.

I have several motors apart right now picking and choosing which parts from each go into the new turbo build. I can attest they are exact matches.

Got a line on a 3.0 from a 2005 Mazda 6 with a spun rod bearing so same question applies-can you swap a good 2.5 crank into a later V6 like this?

if you are putting a 3.0L crank in a 2.5L or visa versa, then you need to have the rotating assembly re-balanced because of the weight difference of the pistons ....g.
